Our conference is taking place at the QEII Centre in the heart of Westminster, putting you within walking distance of over 6,000 hotel bedrooms to suit every budget. While the RCR is not offering accommodation as part of the registration process, we encourage you to book your own accommodation to secure the best rates to suit your budget. The QEII provides a useful hotel search engine you may want to use when making a booking, though please note other search engines are available.

How can I navigate the in-person event?

To help you find your way, a map of the venue will be available on our virtual platform. Additionally, directional signage will be present throughout the building to guide you during the conference.

  RCR environmental policy

In line with the RCR's commitment to prioritise sustainability and our green agenda, we will no longer be producing hard copy delegate booklets. We encourage you to bring a phone or tablet so you have this to hand on the day. Read more about the RCR's environmental policy.

RCR recognises that it's operations can have a harmful effect on the local and global environment and that these effects will adversely impact global health issues and health inequality. The RCR commits to reducing the long-term environmental impact of its operations:

  • Its carbon footprint and to eliminate unnecessary carbon generated from RCR operations and aspire to carbon neutrality
  • The quantity of waste produced with the aim of increasing the proportion of waste recycled
  • The quantities of raw materials including water, paper and plastics used in its operations and to eliminate unnecessary usage.

Do I need to bring a laptop or tablet?

Some sessions may involve interactive elements (for example, interactive voting) where an internet enabled device will allow you to participate.

Will I be filmed or photographed?

Delegates may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed and sound recorded at RCR events. Audience members grant the RCR the right to use photographs and recordings of any type made of their attendance in any and all media, and by means of publicity and promotion relating to the RCR. Delegates who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should make themselves known to the RCR event staff at the beginning of the event. Please refer to our event terms for further information.

Cancellation and transfer policy

  What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be received 30 days before the event (by Friday 29 May 2026). Delegates cancelling after this date will be liable to pay the full price unless the College considers there to be an exceptional circumstance that would warrant a full refund. Please refer to our terms for further information.

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?

To ensure we capture relevant information for all delegates we will require the original booking to be cancelled and a new booking to be confirmed. To cancel your booking please email events@rcr.ac.uk.

If my plans suddenly change, can my ticket be transferred to an online ticket?

Yes, if you are no longer able to attend in-person your booking will be transferred over to an online ticket only. Notification of cancellations should be emailed to events@rcr.ac.uk
